Hazel Frances Maultz, a longtime resident of Lindenwold, Stratford, and Marlton, NJ, passed away at home on February 19, 2018, at the age of 84. Hazel (nee Galaini) was born and raised in Berlin, NJ, and graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1951. She was the devoted wife of Richard Maultz (deceased), with whom she owned and operated Maultz Flowers, with shops in Lindenwold and Stratford. In 2009, Hazel moved to Reston, VA to be near her family.
Hazel is survived by her daughter, Sandra Snyder; her son, Michael Maultz; her sisters Mildred Adams, Grace Bieber, and Marion Thompson; her grandchildren, Rachel Pahira and Matthew Snyder; and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Pahira. She was preceded in death by her sister Adele Stites.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22 at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA. 12:00 pm visitation; 1:00 pm celebration of life. Final burial on Monday 2:30pm in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in Hazel's name to The Arthritis Foundation.
