Bev met her husband, Jim, at Ancora State Hospital where they worked. They married on April 29, 1994, staying in Gibbsboro, raising their grandson, David. Bev retired from Ancora in 2005 to enjoy her retirement with Jim, traveling to Arizona, Florida, New England, Hawaii, Canada, and several cruises to the Caribbean Islands, and particularly her mother's birthplace, Scotland. Bev joined the Radiant Red Hat Society and Seniors Club while living in Gibbsboro.

Bev was an AVID Philadelphia Eagles fan her entire adult life. She had Eagles parties every Sunday for many years. She owned about every souvenir ever made and wore clothing to tell of her love for the Eagles. She was overjoyed to have lived to see the Eagles win the Super Bowl!

Bev was a kind, generous, strong lady with a wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, Jim. She was a loving mother to Stephen (Mary), David, Scott (Doris), and Peter (Jane) Kerr. Loving grandmother to Julia, Leah, David, Katie, Isabella, Stephanie, Danny, Jackson, Ava, Alison, and Tommy. Bev loved and was close to her friends Mary and Chick Zee, her other family, Leda Rivera, her daughters Nasha and Desiree, and their two sons and two daughters. Bev loved her friend of more than thirty years like another sister, Marge Howardell of Erial, NJ. Bev loved her neighbors Ken, Debbie, and Jack Harley like family. Bev's dog Macy will miss her greatly. Bev cherished her friends and especially the fun family of seniors at her Seniors Club. There will be a great void in all of our lives without Bev.
