Obituary of George Clark
George W. Clark, age 91, of Stratford, NJ, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 7, 2019. Born in Camden, NJ and raised in Moorestown, NJ, George was a World War II Naval Veteran, a 37-year electrical engineer for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, a part-time real estate associate, a Board of Directors member for Camp HaLuWaSa in Hammonton, NJ for more than three decades, President of the Trustees Board at his local church for more than two decades, President of the Stratford Board of Health and member of the Stratford Land-Use Committee for many years, Past-President of the Sterling Kiwanis Club, private pilot, avid golfer, loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, and model train enthusiast. However, above and beyond these accolades and accomplishments, his most important priority in life was his love for God and for his wife Elinor, his soulmate for more than 67 years. He is survived by her and the Godly legacy that they created, which produced three children; Barbara (Dennis) Danylak, Deborah, and David (Kim), six grandchildren; Rebekah, Sarah, Michael, Suzanne, Christopher, and Rachel, and four great-grandchildren; Julia, Caleb, Hendrik, and Lucie Grace.
