Sunday, March 3, 2019-"A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again" -Maya Angelou -Dave, our deepest condolences to you and your family, in your time of grieving. Even though I never got to meet Mrs. Brown, I know you held her high on a pedestal, as we should all hold our mothers. Your loving memories of this great soul will get you through these tough times. Your angel, will always be watching over you. She will always be listening. She will always be with you, until you meet again. Please know I am so sorry for your loss.

Friday, March 1, 2019Dave and family, My family's thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief and remembrance. Dave is one of the strongest, kind hearted people I have ever been so lucky to know. It is obvious after sharing his memories of her that he takes after his mother. The loss of parent is not easy and we will continue to be here for you as the years progress and you adjust to this new life. We love you and appreciate your ongoing presence in our lives. We hope that your family can share these next few days celebrating the amazing woman who is now laid to rest and be together in comfort and condolence. Although I do not understand why God chooses to take those we love the most, i find comfort in his love and promise that when he calls us to heaven from our earthly dwelling we are forever young, and free from binding human flesh, so that we are in a better position to care for those we leave behind. We will be praying for your peace and for your comfort.

Friday, March 1, 2019MOM Actually that says everything. You were my mother and took the task of being my mentor through life with passion and peace ( well most of the time, ha ha ). You were my Angel on earth. I remember when you pulled out a secretly stashed Hershy candy bar from your sewing machine drawer and sharred the treat. I think it's safe to spill the secret now. Your sewing room floor was where i could play with my cars and trucks then hit my head on the file cabinet handle and be taken for stiches, many times I was told. We also had Sunday roller skating in the room. That was a memory that i always recall. You cared for me unselfishly when I had scarlet fever and was confined to my room. You made sure that all of your children we dressed for review when we marched off to Sunday school and church. The many memories I have are with you always putting yourself second to be a GREAT MOTHER. YOU WERE ALWAYS AN ANGEL TO ME. NOW YOU ARE EVERYONE'S ANGEL. We believe in signs. Send us a sign that you are at peace and were fitted with a beautiful set of wings. LOVE ALWAYS AND FOREVER DAVID. JONI. CINDER & PRINCE

Wednesday, February 27, 2019I am truly so sorry for your incredible loss. Your dear Marian sounded like a pretty awesome woman. During such a difficult time such as this, I wanted to give you a beautiful scripture to look up at your convenience. It is Isaiah 41:10, and I truly believe it will give you great comfort. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Monday, February 25, 2019Mom, where do I begin? I will always have your expression “you are a pain in my get worse” as my favorite ever. You said it with a smile and probability meant it, but I love this expression. “ I love you a bushel and a hug” came from Grandma but you made it your own and it was special. I loved your quirky sense of humor when you had no idea how truly funny you were, but your kids and grandkids couldn’t stop laughing. When you realized you were funny but perhaps not why, you just joined in the laughs. We shared your first ever Mint Grasshopper and it was a secret delight. Will never forget that “oh my, what is this” look. Your moments of delight are those things I will treasure forever. Those moments were the truest expression of you. You can be proud of being a mom, as you were the best I could ask for. Perfect is a goal, you were real and loved us as best you knew how. It was enough, mom. I will miss you from this moment until we reunite again. You were my mom, and I love you now and forever.

Monday, February 25, 2019I miss making Christmas cookies and watching musicals with grandma. My favorite memories were the trips we took to plays and when she would watch us at night in Chesterfield. I will miss her and cherish my memories with her.

Monday, February 25, 2019I have many wonderful memories of Grandma, but my favorite was the Christmas she gave my cousin Epi a box of "24 popcorn" which she relabeled to be "18 popcorn" since the couple of popcorn bags she tried to microwave all burnt since she couldn't hear the popping. Grandma was always sweet, incredibly crafty (she made so many beautiful clothes, pillow cases, etc.), and a wonderful Grandma. She will be deeply missed.
