It is hard to think of Stratford Swim Club without seeing Jack out on the basketball court even at 90+. He leaves a great legacy and great memories. Condolences and love to his whole big family, especially Mrs Sheehan, from me and Austin and my mom. Praying for all of you.-Carol Pandza

Bill and I will miss him strolling down Academy Drive. We would say to each other “here comes Jack bless his heart” as he was out for his walk. He would always stop, say hello and chat just for a quick minute. What a pleasant, wonderful guy. Our sympathy to the whole family. May he rest in eternal peace. Bill and Kathy Schroeder

I played basketball with Jack during his 60's and 70's. We often surprised the younger teams and when he knew we had the game in the bag he would always give me a humble "wink" and say something funny to me under his breath - about the other team. Classic. He perfected the right-hand off-the-glass set shot. I wish I could say the same for his behind-the-back pass which was just horrible, and then he would blame me. On the bench, we typically wound-up next to each other and we would often solve the world's problems, which I always looked forward to. What a great guy. I will miss him.

We are very sorry the loss of such a wonderful Husband, Dad, and Grandparent. He always had a smile on his face, especially leaving the Basketball courts at the pool after a win with the young guys. You all have great memories of him...Keep them close.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to each and every member of the Sheehan family. I remember your dad walking up and down Saratoga Road daily and my mom would say, "there goes Jack Sheehan again. I don't know where he gets the energy to walk everyday after working and taking care of his 10 kids." She would just shake her head in awe.
Mr. Sheehan was always available to lend a helping hand whenever our garbage disposal jammed. There are a million memories of Mr. Sheehan which I am so happy for.
Rest in Peace Mr. Sheehan in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will keep Mrs. Sheehan and her beautiful family in my thoughts and prayers.

To me, Mr Sheehan was larger than life. He was simply, always there. Whether it was the swim team, raising his kids, doing laps, running up and down the basketball court with guys half his age, showing up after his regular job to fix the swim club pumps, or being a good friend to my mom and dad, he was always there, just a man to be admired. I am so sorry to hear this news.

To entire family, wanted to say how sorry for your loss of a Great Man. I grew up at your house at so many various events, hard to pick one. Recall hair cuts, your Dad grab one of you, throw a sheet over, fast high and tight cut,or entire head. One day he grabbed my arm, kidding I had to yell out, its kelly...he was just messn. I thought for a second he was just grabbing next kid? Always a smile,a whistle, singing a tune....he was a great friend to my Dad. Recall him over many a night, some project they always were doing. The Man always seemed in a great mood, ready for anything. Made me laugh as he described how my Dad was a bit detailed on projects and Mr. Sheehan was more get it done. Again he would tell stories and always so up-beat about life. After having two boys myself, I get how Great he and Mrs Sheehan were while raising a great family. All accomplished, good people each one of them, that is amazing in itself. Any time ya stop over there, always great to be there. Something was going on, and Mr. Sheehan usually would be there. His usual hey Kal, how's it going? The Man played basketball at an age most couldnt walk, truly one of the Great ones. His thoughts, were always about Rose. I recall at soccer game him saying cmon, get ya home in time for dancing with stars. Man's man, ready to help a neighbor, but so devoted to his wife. Gotta love him, will miss you Mr. Sheehan
