Obituary of Walter C. Kulba
Walter C. Kulba, age 78, of Somerdale, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Lovingly cared for during his 5-year battle with Alzheimer's disease by his devoted wife, Patricia (nee McGovern/Lemke) and his stepchildren, Carol and Mike Kemble, Stephen and Carmelita Lemke, and grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Carly, and Brianna Kemble.
Walter is also survived by his brother Jerry of South Carolina, sons Christian (Tamara) of Texas, Andrew of Washington State, and grandson Alexander.
Born in Ukraine, Walt arrived to the US in the early 1950's. He was raised in New York City, and went on to attend St. Francis College for undergrad and Glassboro State College (Rowan) for his Master’s. He worked for the Camden School District for 41 years as a teacher and special services supervisor.
The family will be eternally grateful for all the kindness shown to Walt by Samaritan Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Walt’s memorial gathering on Tuesday, April 27th 10-11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish - St Luke Church, 55 Warwick Rd, Stratford. Mass at 11am. Burial following in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Blackwood.
